Best bratwurst I've had in so long! Served in a pretzel bun. You will NOT be disappointed. And the pretzel platter.....wow! Soft and chewy on the inside and delicately crispy on the outside. Try dipping it in the garlic dip! Served with cheese curds and sausage bites....can't go wrong!
Very nice setup. You can order food and some will bring it to your table. If you want a beer 🍺 you rent a mug and turn it in for your cash back when you are done. They had games for all and a live band played later on
Large Biergarten! We were there on Memorial Day weekend so not sure if they always have these items but there were food trucks, live music, plenty of shaded seating (picnic tables), and of course a great selection of beer. There is plenty of open green space for kids to play including baseball diamond and soccer field. Located in a beautiful park with hiking trails. Very family friendly!!!
Hey this place was a lot of fun it seemed to be really well-organized. So what you do is you
rent a beer mug for $5 and you get that back when you turn the beer mug back in.
Order the beer that you want and order the food that you want. Food will be brought out to you. There was games( I didn't do any) and music later on. Nice
Just so you know a currywurst is a pre cooked brat with curry powder on it. It was fine. The pretzel was good too with the beer cheese.
Just stopped by on a Saturday night and had a really good time. Great band playing called the Roundabouts. Great vibe.
Very fun biergarten with a good selection of beer. Pretzels are a little spendy ($10 a piece) but they're huge and worth it if you plan on drinking. They have an everything bagel pretzel too. Beautiful park around the biergarten too, petrifying springs has a lot of trails to walk. Biergarten is dog-friendly!
This is located in our beautiful park next to our local college...there is also a dog park, golf course, biking and hiking trails, along with Pavillions and great children parks. A must see if you are in the neighborhood...especially now in the fall with the explosion of trees showing off their colors.
As someone who grew up going to Petrifying Springs over 50 years ago, I'm very happy that the Biergarten is now a part of the park. The beer selection is amazing and the food is good, too. Don't forget to share a pretzel with cheese. Delicious.
